I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2005 in the UK, and moved to New Zealand in 2009. I have worked in a variety of areas, including community and hospital adult mental health teams, prisons and secure units, youth offending teams and schools. I have worked in the NHS (UK) and for the District Health Boards in Auckland, alongside my private practice.

I work with adults (aged 18 and over) experiencing a range of mental health difficulties, including anxiety/panic, worry, stress, depression, OCD, and trauma. I am trained and specialized in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Self-Compassion work, Brief Solution Focused Therapy (BSFT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) - you can read more about these approaches here.

Please note, I do not offer couples therapy or Court reports.

I aim to be approachable and flexible and enjoy helping people to overcome their difficulties and gain practical skills that will be helpful for life.

I also offer clinical supervision for psychologists and other mental health professionals.

I am registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board and I am a member of the New Zealand Psychological Society.

Fees

Initial Assessment $230 + GST (60 minutes)

Follow-up sessions $220 + GST (50 minutes)

Affiliated with Southern Cross health insurance and EAP providers, including Clearhead, Modern Health and Spring Health

I am also ACC registered for sensitive claims therapy
