Nikki Beukes, Clinical Psychologist

Nikki is a registered clinical psychologist, originating from Johannesburg South Africa. She graduated with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology (Cum Laude) at the University of South Africa (UNISA) and has experience working in private practice, inpatient psychiatric hospital, adult community mental health services, as well as youth and adult corrections.

Working within an eclectic therapeutic approach, Nikki incorporates various psychotherapy modalities (e.g. Systemic Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Family Therapy, Psychodynamic, Existential/Humanistic, EMDR, Trauma Sensitive Yoga and Mindfulness) to ensure that each client, couples or families’ needs are met, and that are uniquely tailored to them. Her aim is to create a safe, confidential and exploratory therapeutic space to help clients in developing deep insight into themselves, experience personal growth and to foster healthy habits in order to navigate various obstacles.

Her belief is that finding a therapist who is objective, open and non-judgemental, whom you trust to keep sacred your inner most painful, hidden and deep seated thoughts, feelings and difficulties, can be one of the most liberating gifts you can allow yourself. This is why she became a psychologist.

Nikki’s availability is Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (9am to 3pm) face to face or virtual and Thursdays (9am to 3pm) virtual only.  She offers therapy to adolescents from age 12 years, adults, couples therapy and family therapy and provides therapeutic services through ACC Sensitive Claims as well as Adult ADHD Assessments.
